What it means to "Bee-you-tiful"

Psalm 139 beautifully reminds us, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made," emphasizing that each child and youth is truly Bee-you-tiful in their own unique way. In a world that often tries to convince our young ones that they are not enough, we must reaffirm that God, who created earth and sky, has intentionally created each of us with distinct traits and gifts. As we gather in age-appropriate community settings, we explore and practice the following essential skills: connection, communication, cooperation, and collaboration. Together, By bee-coming the best of me, and my friends become the best of themselves, we can impact our communities with with strength and love.

Welcome back our Guest Leader, Daniel Howell

We have the good fortune of having Daniel Howell of Bee-conomy coming to lead our camp this summer.  Daniel has three boys named Dominique, Darius, and Dorian.  His wife Miguelina is an Episcopal Priest.  They all live together in Hartford, Connecticut. Daniel has created characters and stories to help children learn self-care. Daniel has also worked for the National Offices of the Episcopal Church in the department of Young Peoples Cluster.  Daniel was instrumental in planning the Episcopal Student Gathering. We are excited to welcome him to RLC this summer.

Daniel  is coming back to lead our VBS/Camp. He has been planning all year and it is possible we will have an escape room, Mario Cart Team Play and lots of fun and creative games.
